As of 04-12-2008 I got to make a trip up the river on Lake Buchanan which is in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. It's a very beautiful trip by boat. there are three water falls that are named Falls Creek, Deer Creek, and Post Oak Creek. And there are different species of birds along the way. Blue Herons, Pelicans, White Egrets, and even American Bald Eagles that nest up the river during the Winter months. The photo to the right here is a photo of Falls Creek. This will be the first falls you see when you enter the mouth of the river above the Lake Buchanan.
