Oil paintings

I do like to paint with oils when I get into the mood for it I'm a big huge Bob Ross fan. I took three years of art in Junior High School. And may of painted one or maybe two paintings out of the whole three years. I didn't paint much after going into high school. After I graduate high school I got into watching the Bob Ross painting programs that came on television. So that got me into the mood to paint again. Well I started off with acrylic paint and mastered that after a year or two. Then I finally mastered the blue bonnets with the acrylic paints. Well after I have mastered the acrylics I lost the mood to paint for awhile. Then I go about a year or two and decided to start painting again. Like I said earlier I got the hang of acrylic paint so I decided to try the oil paint. That oil is just a little different from the acrylic paint. Didn't take long to get the hang of it though. I painted a while with oils then I fell out of the painting mood again. I really like the oil paints because I use the same wet on wet method just like Bob Ross. It's alot easier to work with than acrylics. Well I picked up a paint brush this winter and decided to paint again. I was really getting into the mood to see how easy it would be to paint blue bonnets with oils. It took a while but I got the hang of it. I just usually paint what ever comes into my mind. I really like the old barns and land scape scenes. So I just dream alittle and put down on canvas. I'm not really that great with old houses yet but I surely can paint some barns. I am not really good at with animals or humans either but I am trying a little. The painting with the old house with blue bonnets which is the first painting there, is from a photograph that I taken in Marble Falls during the blue bonnet season last year. But the rest of the paintings is just what ever is on my mind to paint. I am a disabled quadreplegic herniated the third disk in my neck from water skiing seven years a go. So I have damaged nerves that control my hands and legs. So I'm not doing to bad of painting considered the situation that I am in.
